How to get your Google review link without a Business Profile login

Last updated: October 2026

Most instructions for getting a Google review link start with "sign in to your Business Profile." If you never claimed it, someone else set it up, or you'd rather not deal with Google's dashboard, you don't need to. If your business shows up on Google Maps, you can get a working review link from the Maps share link.

What you need

  • Your business already appears on Google Maps (search your name and check)
  • A phone or computer
  • No Google login, no Business Profile verification

Step by step

  • Open Google Maps (app or google.com/maps)
  • Search your business name and tap it so its listing opens
  • Tap Share, then Copy link
  • Paste that link into our free Google review link generator
  • Tap the test button to check it opens your business's review form

Why this works

Your Maps listing has a unique ID (a Place ID) whether or not anyone has claimed the profile. The share link points to that listing, and the generator turns it into the direct review address Google uses. Customers who tap it land on your star-rating form.

What if my business isn't on Google Maps?

Then there's no review form to link to yet, and no tool can collect Google reviews for you. You'll need to add the business to Google Maps first. Once it shows up in search, come back and paste the link.

Now send it to every customer

A link only helps if customers get it. Text or email it after each visit or job, with one short reminder a few days later. ReviewAsk does that for you: paste your Maps link once, add customers by phone, spreadsheet, or a connected tool, and every customer gets the same one-tap link to Google. $39/month, no contract, and you can start a free trial.

Ask every customer, without remembering to

ReviewAsk texts or emails every customer a one-tap Google review link, with one reminder. No Google login needed. $39/month, 7-day free trial, no contract.

FAQ

Do I need to verify my Google Business Profile to get a review link?

No. If your business appears on Google Maps, the share link from Maps is enough to build a direct review link.

Will reviews from this link show on my Google listing?

Yes. It opens the same review form as your listing, so reviews post to your Google listing like any other.

Does ReviewAsk need my Google login?

No. You paste your Google Maps link during setup. ReviewAsk never asks you to sign in to Google.
